8th A-Team takes 2nd at District Tournament

The 8th grade A Lady Bear Volleyball team battled hard to come up with the 2nd place finish in the 2014 A-Team District Volleyball Tournament in Waxahachie this past Saturday. They lost in the championship game to Waxahachie Howard. The upset win against Corsicana was the key to getting the Lady Bears to the championship.

The North Forney Lady Falcon Volleyball team completed the first half of District on October 3rd with a thrilling 5 set victory over Royse City.  The Lady Falcon’s record is now 5-2 and has them in 3rd place behind Rockwall Heath and Forney HS.  This year’s team is working hard toward their first playoff appearance

Middle School Cross Country Meets to Begin November 11th

Brown Middle School Cross Country season will begin with the first meet on November 11th in Mesquite.  The district meet is December 9th. FISD Middle Schools participate in cross country with Mequite ISD middle schools, and all meets are in Mesquite. More information will be forthcoming from Brown MS.

The Lady Falcon basketball participants traveled to the Ballpark at Arlington on Saturday, September 20, to participate in the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s  annual Muscle Walk.
