Falcon XC Take on the Green Monster at Spartan Invitational

The Burleson Centennial High School Spartan Invitational is know as the “Home of the Green Monster”.  About a half mile into the 5k course a 100 yard hill, known as the Green Monster, makes its appearance.  On Saturday 9/28 the North Forney Cross Country team took on the Green Monster and made out like champs.

On Friday the 13th, with a gorgeous, freakishly full blood moon looming over City Bank Stadium, 13 Mascots lingered near the north end zone, a nervous tension building among them.  It was moments before the 8th Annual FCA Mascot Race.  Oversize head-to-head competition, staged before the whole town, is not for the feint of heart.
