The girls varsity basketball team lost their first game in district to state ranked Highland Park Tuesday night. It was a hard fought game through 4 quarters with low percentage shooting for both teams. The Lady Falcons had a chance to tie it up and go into overtime with 20 seconds left in the game but the last shot fell short. Through the first round of district the Lady Falcons are 6-1 and hold 2nd place under Highland Park. The girls look to bounce back starting the second round of district against a scrappy Crandall team on Friday 01/15 at Crandall High School.
