The Men’s track and field team competed in the Sulphur Springs track meet on Friday. The Varsity got 3rd overall and JV got 2nd. Many of the student/athletes set personal best in their respective events and all behaved like true Falcons. The following athletes placed in the top six in their event. Varsity: 4×1

On his very last shot put throw of the UIL State Track Meet Norris Floyd set another personal best and another school record. Going into the final throw Norris was sitting in 8th place but after his throw of 53’6 and one half inch he moved into 6th place and guaranteed North Forney points in
Norris Floyd’s hours of hard work payed off this weekend at the regional track meet and no one is more deserving. Norris has watched hours of film, practiced many nights in his driveway, and survived Coach Telschow’s grueling workouts to achieve his goals this year in track.
